Facebook Like and Dislike Stamps
Experienced the same web search engine optimization issue
Jennifer Lopez. She might not have the most SEO-friendly full name, but she’s the coolest Jenny from the block as far as the search marketing industry is concerned
8. Set up custom RSS feeds for key bloggers
8. Set up custom RSS feeds for key bloggers
This is really at the end of the outreach process, but I often find that I’m contacting bloggers that operate in a niche within my niche. For example, a food blogger might build a relationship with a cupcake blog. If they like to consume content using RSS, it would be much better to give them a feed of posts which are strictly relevant to cupcakes.
Fortunately this is super-easy in Wordpress. Find the relevant tag page or category page such as:
http://www.robsfoodblog.com/tags/cupcakes/
and add /feed/ to the end of the URL:
http://www.robsfoodblog.com/tags/cupcakes/feed/
Score! Obviously this won’t work exactly on every wordpress install as it depends how you’ve got your permalinks set up, but it should be possible if you have a play around.
That’s all for now! Hopefully this post gives you some ideas that might freshen up your outreach strategies. If you’ve got any further ideas or questions, I’d love to hear them in the comments.
#repost Why Delicious.com is More Social Than You Think [and Not Going Anywhere]
One such site that has continued to evolve and stay active is Delicious, but for whatever reason, it has failed to really make it into the top social media aggregation sites category. In fact many people had probably forgot about the site altogether until it was announced that Yahoo might close the project down. Well Delicious is not being shut down and it is actually a lot more social media friendly than you probably remember. Here are a collections of tips and features you can use to help you succeed better on Delicious.

Communication Problems at Camp - keeping parents notified
We had a severe thunderstorm pass to the north of Camp Tecumseh on Saturday night. It did no damage to our property, however it has caused some major problems with communication lines to camp. Currently most of our phone lines are down and we have no internet access. The companies involved are working diligently to correct the problems but the storms did some major damage at a seceral key places in their network. We don’t know how long the outage will last.
Summer staff members checked in and are all here and doing well! We do have one phone line that is currently working and we ask that at the moment it be used for urgent messages only. That number is 765-563-6424. Hopefully the issues will be fixed shortly and our phones and internet will be back on line. Sorry if you have been trying to contact us today!
