Setting up my blog - Welcome to my web 2.0 safari

This is a test post sent via email.

I also added at feedburner feed to get more stats.  People to date haven't read my blogs much, so at least if other students have to subscribe to mine, I will get some data.  Feedburner can be found here http://feedburner.google.com and a tutorial of how to integrate with blogger can be found here http://www.google.com/support/feedburner/bin/answer.py?answer=78465

I have also gone for an safari kind of design, to keep with the "Web 2.0 adventure" theme.  I have replicated this as the background of the twitter account I have also setup for this which can be found www.twitter.com/web2adventure.  Initially, content to this account is just a repost of the rss feed, as we don't cover the twitter topic area until week3.  This is just a I might do some other stuff down the track with a facebook page.

For non ISYS2356 student's who may visit my blog, ISYS2356 is a university subject as part of RMIT's Bachelor Business (Information and Knowledge Management) - course details can be found here http://www.rmit.edu.au/courses/034316

The particular assignment that this blog relates to is a Web 2.0 Adventure  which accounts for 30% of my mark for this course. If you area following along from home, the background to the Web 2.0 adventure is:

ISYS2356 Web 2.0 Adventure is based on 21 Lunges, an online program developed by RMIT University Library to help staff learn about Web 2.0 technologies. It in turn was based on the "23 Things" in the Learning 2.0 Program developed by Helene Blowers, formerly Public Services Technology Director for thethe Public Library of Charlotte and Mecklenburg County (PLCMC) in North Carolina, USA.The Learning 2.0 program has been run in hundreds of libraries and other organisations throughout the world.

If interested, the specific details of this is assignment are added below.

  1. Hey Cameron, you might want to remove your phone number from here since you are releasing your security a bit.
Also lots of your posts have been creative in how you get them up here, but can you tell me why exactly you aren't sticking to the blogger posting system? Just curious.
