Matt McGee, who blogs over at Small Business Search Engine Marketing was one of the first guys that I saw really advocate Delicious as a tool. I know Bernadette also advocated it as a tool in ISYS 2438 Information and Knowledge Environments 1.
However I cheated and Chelsea, who was allocated my and Ana's mentor at the start of the introduced me to the tool. I have learnt that:
- The firefox toolbar is a little bit better than the chrome 1 (ie you can also take screenshots)
- I like how you can publish your bookmarks to your blog https://secure.diigo.com/blog_this/daily_blog.
- Once more students are using it I would like to play a bit more with groups etc http://groups.diigo.com/user/cameron_stewart These (or the list function) should be a good way to collaborate.
- Here is a link to my tag cloud: http://www.diigo.com/cloud/cameron_stewart
- This tool will improve as I add more friends
So for this weeks tute, I am going to check out some of the other ones:
- CiteUlike
- Connotea
- LibraryThing
- GuruLib
- Faviki
Better go do that
